Fantasy Impact:

The sad part is that it came on a play that didn't even matter, as his touchdown was called back due to a penalty. It's a massive blow to an Eagles team that had Super Bowl aspirations. Wentz was playing as well as anyone in the league, and will finish the year with 3,296 yards, 33 touchdowns, and just 7 interceptions. His timeline should be announced soon, as they'll likely have to wait until the swelling goes down for surgery. They'll now go from the MVP-candidate Wentz, to Nick Foles. While some may remember what he did back in 2013, Foles has been a pretty average quarterback while throwing 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions over the last four seasons. His first test will come on the road this week against the Giants struggling defense. This injury is a downgrade for everyone in the passing game, including Alshon Jeffery.
