As expected, Prescott officially signed his franchise tender with the Cowboys. Both sides have until July 15th to work out a long-term deal. It was reported that Dak was looking to secure a four-year contract, but the Cowboys want to sign him for five years. Prescott will now have to report to training camp as the two sides workout an extension. He had a career-year in 2019, throwing for 4,902 yards with a 30:11 TD:INT ratio across 16 games. Dak is currently third among all quarterbacks in the latest expert consensus rankings.
