George Kittle and 49ers agree on five-year extension

The deal also includes an $18 million signing bonus. Entering the final year of this rookie deal, both sides were able to complete a long-term contract just before the season opener. Kittle becomes the highest paid TE annually per season. The 26-year-old is coming off an incredible 2019 campaign, hauling in 85 receptions on 107 targets for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns across 14 games. Kittle is a top-two tight end in fantasy and is currently second among all tight ends in the latest expert consensus rankings.
