TE Austin Hooper has appendicitis and will undergo surgery Friday. He has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 7 contest against the Bengals. (Jake Trotter on Twitter )

Hooper underwent surgery on his appendix Friday and has been ruled out for Week 7. It is unclear how much time Hooper will miss, but he will out at least one week. The Browns will turn Harrison Bryant and David Njoku at tight end for Week 7.
