Hunter Henry is signing a three-year deal with the Patriots

The New England Patriots have struck again and are signing former Chargers TE Hunter Henry to a three-year deal worth $37.5M

Fantasy Impact:

The Patriots have gone from zero receiving weapons to signing the top-2 TE options available from this free agency period. Hunter Henry and teammate Jonnu Smith should now make up one of the most formidable TE duos in all of the NFL. Henry is coming off a productive season that saw him amass 60 receptions for 613 yards and four touchdowns, but injuries have played a part in capping his ceiling. As far as fantasy is concerned, this landing spot may not be ideal. Can an aging Cam Newton support two TE1s? Maybe if New England decides to run their entire offense around these two young and talented receiving options. The deal includes $25M in guaranteed money, so there is plenty of incentive to do just that.
