Penei Sewell selected No. 7 by Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have selected offensive tackle Penei Sewell with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. (Dave Birkett on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Sewell is the highest-ranked offensive tackle in this draft. It was suspected that he could have been taken at No. 5 by the Bengals or No. 6 by the Dolphins and the Lions were quick to lock him in as soon as they were on the clock. The Oregon product is just 20 years old and measures in at 6'6" and 331 pounds. He'll add to the physicality that new coach Dan Campbell is hoping to develop as well as boost the value of their second-year back, D'Andre Swift.
