The Dallas Cowboys have selected DB Kelvin Joseph with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Dallas continues to prioritize their defense following a brutal outing in 2020. After selecting LB Micah Parsons at No. 21, the Cowboys wanted to add speed to their secondary with Kelvin Joseph out of the University of Kentucky. Joseph logged a 4.34 40-yard dash and has an elite ability in press coverage while showcasing additional abilities to float into the slot using his fast-twitch speed and innate ability to track the ball carrier. This selection makes a ton of sense for the Cowboys, as they address their weaknesses to expedite the improvement of their roster into a championship contender.
