Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports Colts QB Carson Wentz (foot) will try to rest and rehab his injury rather than undergoing immediate surgery. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
If the rest and rehab plan goes well then Week 1 is still in play for Wentz. However, if things don't improve, then it sounds as if he'll need to undergo surgery. It's a tricky situation for the Colts, who may still be in the market for a veteran signal caller as an insurance plan. Indianapolis pass catchers shouldn't be drafted as aggressively as they were for most of the summer -- at least not until we have more information.
