Cowboys’ HC Mike McCarthy said WR Amari Cooper, who’s currently on the PUP list with an ankle injury, is in real good shape and looks great. (Michael Gehlken on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Cooper isn’t expect to practice until after the team's second preseason game against the Cardinals. After having ankle surgery in January, he was placed on the PUP list to begin training camp. This is the first positive news since the ankle flared up in May. When healthy, Cooper has WR1 upside. This is something we will continue to monitor. Stay tuned.
