Patrick Mahomes II clears concussion protocol

Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters after Sunday's Week 7 loss against the Titans that Patrick Mahomes cleared concussion protocol. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mahomes suffered the head injury later in the fourth quarter. Reid added that it was a coach's decision to hold him out of the remainder of Week 7, but it's likely that the head injury played a factor. The Chiefs were also down 27-3 at the time of the injury. Mahomes totaled just 206 passing yards and one interception, but it sounds like there will be no concern over his Week 8 status.
