Elijah Mitchell has monster game against Minnesota

by Jon Mathisen | 49ers Correspondent | Sun, Nov 28th 9:14pm EST

San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell picked up 133 rushing yards on 27 carries with one touchdown to go along with five catches on six targets for 35 yards in a 34-26 win over the Vikings.

Fantasy Impact:

Mitchell came into this one a little banged up as he had a rib injury and was recovering from a broken finger that he sustained two weeks ago. The injuries didn't seem to impact him one bit though as he totaled a season-high 168 total yards. He easily led the team in carries with 27 but was vultured by Deebo Samuel twice, who picked up a pair of rushing scores. Mitchell still had a huge game and continued to show promise in the passing game as well. He is the clear lead back in the Niners vaunted rushing attack and is a locked-in RB1 for next week's matchup against the Seahawks.
