Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) is expected to play Thursday night vs. the Chiefs, but reportedly may not get a full workload, according to sources. (Taylor Bisciotti on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Ekeler injured his ankle in Week 14, but it’s always been positive news out of Los Angeles regarding his status for a huge Week 15 game vs. the Chiefs, even on a short week. Ekeler is accustomed to playing around 65% of the snaps and handling most of the RB work, so it’s likely that’s scaled back a bit tonight as a result of his ankle injury. If that’s the case, expect Justin Jackson and Joshua Kelley to handle more work than usual, but neither should be started in fantasy lineups as long as Ekeler is in fact active tonight. Despite this news, Ekeler is still a recommended start tonight due to his ability even with a more limited snap count.
