Jalen Hurts praised for improved accuracy, timing, and communication

Multiple Philadelphia Eagles players and coaches, including WR DeVonta Smith and HC Nick Sirianni have indicated that QB Jalen Hurts has shown significant growth in his second offseason as the team's signal caller. Hurts' accuracy, timing, and communication have been identified as areas of improvement. (CBS Sports )

Fantasy Impact:

In his first season as the Eagles’ starting QB, Hurts was a reliable fantasy option and finished the season as a low-end QB1. However, Hurts’ real-life NFL value hasn’t matched his fantasy value, as he’s struggled as a passer at times while leading the most run-heavy offense in the league. The Eagles have done an excellent job of surrounding Hurts with blue-chip talent. Behind one of the best offensive lines in the league and A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert as his primary receiving options, Hurts will have every opportunity to run an explosive offense in 2022. The Eagles have two 2023 first-round picks, so if Hurts doesn’t live up to expectations, the team could look to draft his replacement in what is expected to be an excellent 2023 rookie QB class.
