Dalvin Cook leaves practice with hand injury Tuesday

Cook returned for one snap before watching the rest of practice from the sidelines. Cook's backup Alexander Mattison also later left practice with a finger injury. Third-string running back Kene Nwangwu already missed practice Monday before sitting out Tuesday as well, so the Vikings backfield is already banged up in training camp. The Vikings appear to be erring on the side of caution with their bell cow back but any injury is something to monitor with the oft-injured running back as camp continues. The hand issue bears watching as Cook is expected to be more involved in the passing game this season.
