Sam Darnold completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 341 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while also rushing five times for 20 rushing yards and losing two fumbles in the Panthers' 30-24 Week 17 loss to the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact:
Darnold's decent day was overshadowed by his three turnovers despite finding three different pass catchers for touchdowns in a losing effort Sunday. The quarterback averaged 220.0 passing yards per game over his last five games for a Carolina offense that relied on a conservative run-first gameplan under interim head coach Steve Wilks. Darnold will close out the season with a stiff test in a Week 18 road contest against the New Orleans Saints.
