Miles Sanders receives light workload in Week 17 loss

by Mike Maher | Panthers Correspondent | Mon, Jan 2nd 2:39pm EST

Miles Sanders rushed 12 times for 61 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in Sunday's loss to the Saints.

Fantasy Impact:

Sanders received 21 carries in last week's loss to the Cowboys but just 12 carries on Sunday against the Saints, despite the Eagles starting backup QB Gardner Minshew. Sanders averaged 5.1 yards per carry on Sunday, but the Eagles only ran the ball 15 total times against 38 dropbacks for Minshew. With the Eagles failing to lock up the No. 1 seed, they'll now have to play Sanders and their other offensive starters for a Week 18 matchup against the Giants at home.
