Hopkins has two years and $34.36M left on his contract and is likely to seek a new deal. Owner Michael Bidwill plans to express this to GM candidates as the Cardinals are looking for both a new head coach and general manager this offseason. It is possible Kyler Murray misses most of next season, so it makes sense for Arizona to try and get the most out of Hopkins in a trade while they still can.
