Josh Jacobs to receive franchise tag if deal isn't reached

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to place the franchise tag on RB Josh Jacobs if a long-term deal isn't reached by the tag deadline. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The deadline to place a franchise tag is March 7, but placing the tag gives the Raiders exclusive rights to work on a long-term deal until July 15. Jacobs led the NFL in rushing yards in 2022-23 with 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns. Jacobs could see continued heavy usage if he stays in Las Vegas after the team moved on from QB Derek Carr.
