According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler has requested permission to speak with other teams about a potential trade. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

According to Schefter, the news comes after the Chargers and Ekeler were unable to agree on terms regarding an extension. Ekeler has been one of the most productive fantasy and real-life athletes over the last few seasons, amounting to 1,826 rushing yards, 177 catches and 38 total touchdowns over the last two seasons. Ekeler has been a staple at the top of PPR leagues.
