Zane Gonzalez traded to 49ers

According to his agent, K Zane Gonzalez was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday. The teams swapped future draft picks in 2025. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez enters his sixth season in the NFL after being one of the most successful college kickers ever. The trade is also likely an indication that the 49ers will not be bringing back K Robbie Gould who is 40 years old and currently a free agent after six seasons with the team. Gonzalez has a career field goal percentage of 80.5% but nailed 90.9% of his kicks in 2022 in Carolina.
