Travis Kelce: Tests reveal 'ACL is intact'

According to Adam Schefter, Travis Kelce is believed to have suffered a hyperextended knee, but tests revealed he did not damage his ACL. The Chiefs will test him again on Wednesday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Kelce getting injured is not a good thing, but his intact ACL is a positive sign that there is no long-term issue. Whether or not he plays in the season opener against Detroit will come down to swelling, inflammation, and pain management. The Chiefs are planning on testing out Kelce's knee again on Wednesday to determine if he can give it a go on Thursday night. If Kelce does miss time, all other Chiefs weapons will see an increase in targets.
