Jaxon Smith-Njigba to have no limitations Week 1

by Sammy Schulman | Seahawks Correspondent | Fri, Sep 8th 11:55pm EDT

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who recently underwent wrist surgery, has been cleared for Week 1 and will play with no limitation, according to Seahawks' coach Pete Carroll. (Gregg Ball on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

JSN is a dynamic rookie out of Ohio St., but a wrist injury threatened to limit him from being his professional career. However, it seems that JSN will be ready to go on Sunday when the Seahawks take on the Rams in their opener. Smith-Njigba will have to compete with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, but in college, JSN outperformed both Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave in 2021. It may take some time for the Seahawks' first-rounder to acclimate, but he should get stronger as the season progresses.
