Akers, who was the Rams’ starter for Week 1, was inactive after a difficult week of practice. Akers has reportedly had a good attitude with the team and was surprised that he was inactive. The Rams and Akers had a similar issue last season, where the running back was on the market before coming back to the team and finishing the year strong. It is likely that a rebuilding Rams team will be willing to move Akers as they look to add draft capital to rebuild their roster. Fantasy managers should expect that Akers will likely be moved to another team soon.
