Brock Purdy on pace to be cleared from concussion protocol

49ers QB Brock Purdy (concussion) is practicing for the second straight day and is on pace to be cleared form the protocol Saturday. (Matt Barrows on Twitter )

The report also adds that head coach Kyle Shanahan will provide an update on Purdy soon. If Purdy is cleared, he will start for the 49ers Sunday and would be the first player to clear the protocol in the same week they were diagnosed with a concussion.
