Sione Vaki selected No. 132 by Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have selected RB/S Sione Vaki with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact:
Vaki spent the majority of his college career at Utah as a safety but had a brief stint as an RB after the Utes found themselves in need of backfield help. Though Vaki has said in the past he would prefer to remain on defense, the Lions announced him as an RB in the draft, setting him up for a developmental role as the team's RB3/4. He had 42 carries for 317 yards and two TDs as an RB.
