"I'm still rehabbing," Ward said in an interview with Kay Adams. "So I'm trying to get back up to running full speed and everything. ... But I feel good. I feel way better than it did a couple months ago. Even at the end last season, I was hurting pretty bad. My back, groin, abdomen was hurting pretty bad. But I fought through it, I pushed through it." Ward underwent surgery for a core muscle injury after the Super Bowl.
