Theo Johnson potentially nearing return from PUP list

by Jordan Epp | Giants Correspondent | Fri, Jul 26th 7:22pm EDT

New York Giants rookie TE Theo Johnson appeared to be moving well on the sideline Friday and did not seem limited, potentially meaning a near return to action off the PUP list, according to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com. (Art Stapleton on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson was a fourth-round pick out of Penn State who was most well-known for his high-end athletic testing. He had at least a 90th-percentile score in the vertical and broad jumps, 40-yard dash, and short shuttle. With Darren Waller retiring, Johnson (6'6", 259) could provide a downfield threat playing alongside third-year TE Daniel Bellinger once Johnson recovers from his hip flexor injury.
