The New Orleans Saints are sending a 2025 sixth-round pick to the Washington Commanders for DT John Ridgeway III and a 2025 seventh-round pick. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Ridgeway combined for 55 tackles in 32 games during his two-year stint in Washington. This trade leaves the Commanders with only four players left at the defensive tackle position on their 53-man roster.
