Dallas defense grounds the high flying Eagles

The Cowboys defense dominated the Eagles offense for the 20-10 win on Sunday in Philadelphia. Dallas surprised many Sunday as the defense easily handled what's supposed to be one of the leagues best offenses. The defense swarmed to the ball shutting down the run while also causing two INTs, one fumble, six passes deflected, and one QB sack. (Espn.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The Dallas D/ST was supposed to be one to avoid on Sunday, but instead finished as a surprising reliable fantasy option in Week 2. Even with injuries and suspensions plaguing this team DC Rob Marinelli has found a way to put together one of the more interesting defensive units in the NFL. If the defense can keep playing at this level the Cowboys will end up as one of the more underrated D/ST in the NFL. Especially when DEs Greg Hardy, Randy Gregory, and LB Rolando McClain all return to the starting line ups. However the Dallas D/ST may still be one to avoid as they host the Julio Jones and the high scoring Falcons this Sunday.
