The Chicago Bears are finalizing a deal to land one of the biggest names in the 2025 offseason coaching cycle, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson has developed a reputation around the NFL as a top-tier play-caller, play-designer, and talent developer, operating a Lions offense that has run through the NFL over the last two regular seasons, reaching at least the Divisional Round in both 2023 and 2024. Now Johnson will pair with young QB Caleb Williams, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, as well as other young offensive pieces like D'Andre Swift, Rome Odunze, and DJ Moore, bringing further promise to a Chicago offense that disappointed relative to its high expectations heading into the 2024 season.
