Aaron Rodgers: Jets told veteran QB N.Y. is moving on

The New York Jets are moving on from veteran QB Aaron Rodgers, officially informing him that they plan to move forward elsewhere. Rodgers will likely be a post-June 1 cut, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Moving on from Rodgers will lead to a dead cap hit, but by releasing him post-June 1, New York can spread that cap hit between 2025 and 2026. Currently, the Jets don't have much of a plan at QB (Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis), so they could either end up as players in the veteran market or in the 2025 NFL Draft. As well, it seems likely that Davante Adams could be on the chopping block as well, among other players.
