Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin won’t participate in team-related activities to start training camp as he continues to rehab his ankle injury from last season. (Rick Stroud on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Godwin suffered a dislocated ankle in October 2024, ending one of the best starts to a season in his career. With 50 receptions and 576 yards in just seven games, the veteran wide receiver dominated in Liam Coen’s offense. Heading into 2025, though, there is uncertainty about his availability to start the season and how rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka will factor into the offense. He is being drafted on average as the half-PPR WR29, according to FantasyPros’ data.
