Matthew Stafford not practicing, expected to be ready for Week 1

Matthew Stafford has yet to practice in training camp this summer, including being held out of joint practices with Dallas, but his injury is not expected to prevent him from playing against the Texans in Week 1. (Adam Schefter via X)
Fantasy Impact:
While of course fantasy managers would prefer Stafford to practice and build chemistry with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, this does give a reason for optimism. If he’s good to go for Week 1, then he should slot in as a reliable QB2 for fantasy.
