To no surprise, Mahomes may sit out of Kansas City's second preseason game on Friday. The team wants to give more reps to their younger players, and the star quarterback doesn't have any great need for a lot of reps prior to the start of the season. Gardner Minshew II and Bailey Zappe will both see more work if he's out.
