Omarion Hampton, LA will have rotation 'no matter what'
by Jordan Epp | Chargers Correspondent | Thu, Aug 14th 10:53am EDT
Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton is expected to split carries, as offensive coordinator Greg Roman said, "There will be rotation no matter what happens." (Alex Insdorf on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Roman hinted that one-man backfields are out of phase in the NFL, saying, "The day of the one running back taking every rep, it's kinda gone the way of the prehistoric creatures." With Najee Harris dealing with an eye injury, Hampton could split time with Hassan Haskins or Kimani Vidal early on. This may not mean Hampton will cede the majority of his carries, but it could mean he and Harris have a healthy share of the touches when both are healthy.
