Bengals QB Joe Burrow is expected to miss at least three months due to a Grade 3 turf toe injury that will require surgery, according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero. He is getting second opinions. (Tom Pelissero on X)
Fantasy Impact:
This is close to the worst case for fantasy managers who roster Joe Burrow or any of the Bengals' playmakers. Three months would sideline him for most of the season, and while Jake Browning led Cincinnati to a win over the Jaguars today, he threw three interceptions in the process. It's possible that additional opinions are more optimistic, but fantasy managers should prepare for the worst.
