Kareem Hunt gets 14 touches in Week 4 win
by Paul Brenton | Chiefs Correspondent | Sun, Sep 28th 10:07pm EDT
Kareem Hunt rushed for 34 yards on 13 carries and caught one pass for 13 yards in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 37-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy Impact:
Kareem Hunt actually led the Kansas City Chiefs in rushing attempts, though he turned his 13 carries into just 34 yards, averaging 2.6 per attempt with a long of 7. He also caught his lone target for 13 yards, bringing his total to 47 scrimmage yards. While Hunt’s efficiency left plenty to be desired, the workload is noteworthy, especially in a backfield that spread carries around. This usage suggests Kansas City views Hunt as a complementary piece rather than a pure afterthought. Still, until his efficiency improves, he’s more of a desperation flex option than a reliable fantasy starter.
