Commanders defense no match for Chiefs
by Nate Miller | Commanders Correspondent | Tue, Oct 28th 10:57am EDT
The Commanders' defense allowed 28 points on 432 yards of offense while recording two interceptions and three sacks in Monday's loss to the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact:
The Commanders continue to struggle with keeping opponents off the scoreboard. They have now surrendered four offensive touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, allowing over 400 yards of offense both times out. The Washington defense made some plays in the first half Monday night, picking off two Patrick Mahomes' passes. The unit ran out of steam in the second half, giving up 21 points and offering little resistance to the Chiefs' offensive attack. The Commanders D/ST is not a great option against the Seahawks' top-10 scoring offense in Week 9.
