Ryan Griffin posts career-high in yards against Jaguars
by Mike Werner | Mon, Dec 19th 12:46am EST
Ryan Griffin secured all eight of his targets for 85 yards in the Texans 21-20 victory over the Jaguars in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact:
With starter C.J. Fiedorowicz inactive today (concussion), Griffin assumed a full-time role. His eight targets were tied for second-most on the team, with his 85 yards netting a career-high as well -- resulting in a top-10 finish at the position (barring Monday Night Football). If Fiedorowicz were to miss again, Griffin would be firmly on the back-end of the TE1 radar. All eight of his targets came once Tom Savage took over in the second quarter, and the Bengals were giving up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends over the last four weeks prior to allowing 72 yards on five receptions to Ladarius Green in Week 15.
