Anthony Brown
CB - New York Jets
2024 Outlook
Dallas Cowboys CB Anthony Brown was placed on Injured Reserve on Saturday due to a rib injury he sustained in Week 1 versus the Los Angeles Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Brown signed a three-year deal with the Cowboys this past March and was off to a great start to the season, accumulating six tackles (five solo) in Week 1. The Dallas DST will miss their versatile nickel/slot corner, and in a corresponding move, the Cowboys promoted OT Eric Smith from their practice squad.
Ian Rapoport on Twitter is reporting that a source told him that the Dallas Cowboys have signed corner back Anthony Brown to a three-year deal worth $15.5M.
Fantasy Impact
Brown was limited to nine games last season due to a triceps injury. By the Cowboys re-signing him, Brown will have a great opportunity next season to take on a greater role in the secondary due to the departure of Bryon Jones in free agency.
