This Week Outlook

The Titans have signed quarterback Austin Davis.
Fantasy Impact
Davis will be the backup behind Blaine Gabbert and Marcus Mariota. Davis was most recently with the Seahawks, where he spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons. His most recent regular season action came in 2015 with the Browns. The 29-year-old isn't fantasy relevant.
The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed veteran QB Austin Davis to compete for the backup spot behind Russell Wilson. Davis played three games for the Seahawks last season but did not attempt a pass.
Fantasy Impact
Davis should be the front-runner over Stephen Morris for No. 2 duties in Seattle but it won't preclude the club from signing or drafting competition. Davis played for the Rams in 2013 and Browns the next season, totaling 2,548 passing yards and compiling a 13-to-12 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Davis entering the lineup would be a disaster for the Seattle offense.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Seattle Seahawks and free agent quarterback Austin Davis have agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Perhaps the bigger story here is Colin Kaepernick. The controversial signal-caller remains a free agent in the wake of Seattle agreeing to terms with Davis. It appears unlikely that Kaepernick signs with a team prior to the start of the 2017 season barring a significant injury to a notable quarterback moving forward. For Davis, he will serve as Russell Wilson's backup for the upcoming campaign.
Former Cleveland Browns QB Austin Davis will visit with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday. Davis was granted his release from Cleveland on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Davis is a two-year veteran in the NFL who saw his most action as a rookie with the Rams in 2014. In 10 games, he threw for 2,001 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Davis played in three contests last season with the Browns and only accounted for 1 touchdown and three interceptions. Davis was the fourth quarterback on Cleveland's depth chart in this summer and was granted his release on Monday. If signed, Davis will provide depth at the position in Dallas as Dak Prescott is the starter while Tony Romo is sidelined with his back injury.
Cleveland Browns QB Austin Davis (concussion) suffered a concussion during Friday night's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Davis is the fourth quarterback on Cleveland's depth chart and could be the odd man out of the team's final 53-man roster. Josh McCown appears to be on the trading block which is good news for Davis, but Cleveland's asking price is reportedly a fourth round pick for the veteran signal caller. If he remains with the Browns, Davis could end up designated to the practice squad to begin the 2016 season.
