WR - PIT
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 3-of-7 targets for 25 yards in a 42-21 Wild Card loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Claypool failed to break any big plays in the loss. The second-year wideout managed to score just two touchdowns in 2021 after racking up 11 all-purpose scores in his rookie year. The Steelers will be moving on from Ben Roethlisberger in the offseason, which would most likely be a positive for Claypool as Roethlisberger simply no longer has the arm strength to get the ball deep downfield to his wideouts. Claypool has a chance to see a bounceback in 2022, depending on who ends up as Pittsburgh's next signal-caller.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 5-of-7 targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in a 16-13 overtime win over the Ravens in Week 18.
Claypool added 33 yards on three rushes. His touchdown came on a six-yard pass in the third quarter. It was just his second score of the season. No one in Pittsburgh would stand to benefit more from an offseason QB upgrade than Claypool.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 3-of-9 targets for 17 yards in a 26-14 win over Cleveland in Week 17.
Claypool caught two balls on Pittsburgh's first drive but was held without a catch in the second half. The second-year wide receiver has been quiet over his past three games, catching just seven passes for 70 total yards. He will be a low-end flex against Baltimore in Week 18.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 4-of-6 targets for 41 yards in a 36-10 loss to the Chiefs in Week 16.
Claypool's disappointing second season continues as he is still stuck at just one touchdown on the year. The wideout will be a boom/bust WR3 against the Browns in Week 17.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool failed to catch both of his targets but had a seven-yard run in a 19-13 win over the Titans.
Claypool managed to finish with 12 receiving yards without making a catch, thanks to a double-reverse where Ray-Ray McCloud was credited with the catch. The second-year wideout is trending down heading into a Week 16 matchup with the Chiefs.
