WR - PIT
Week 17 Outlook
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 5-of-7 targets for 59 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-37 playoff loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Claypool put the finishing touches on an excellent rookie season in the disappointing loss. Look for him to take a big step forward in 2021 with JuJu Smith-Schuster set to become a free-agent this offseason. If JuJu leaves, that would allow Claypool to slide in as the No. 2 WR in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 5-of-11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 24-22 loss to Cleveland in Week 17.
Claypool hauled in a 28-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, giving him nine receiving scores in his rookie campaign. Claypool will get a rematch against Cleveland next weekend in the Wild Card round.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 4-of-6 targets for 54 yards in a 28-24 win over the Colts in Week 16.
Claypool was held out of the end zone for the fifth straight game. The rookie wideout has been quiet in the fantasy playoffs after getting off to a hot start to the season. Claypool will be a WR3 against the Browns in Week 17.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 3-of-8 targets for 54 yards in a 27-17 loss to the Bengals in Week 15.
Claypool was held without a catch in the first half but he ripped off a 37-yard reception on a screen pass in the third quarter. The rookie will be a WR3 in a tough Week 16 matchup against the Colts.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught 3-of-6 targets for 15 yards in a 26-15 loss to Buffalo in Week 14.
Buffalo did an excellent job keeping Claypool under wraps in the game. The rookie wideout has struggled of late but he still has a high ceiling when the Steelers offense is clicking. Treat him as a high-end WR3 with upside in Week 15 against the Bengals.
