Schultz found the end zone on a 22-yard touchdown strike from C.J. Stroud in the fourth quarter. The veteran finally was able to find the end zone for the first time this season, breaking a drought after logging five touchdown receptions in 2023. Schultz and the Texans will head to their bye week in Week 14.

The disappointing season for Schultz continues. After having such a great first year with the team, Schultz has failed to find the end zone all year and is on pace to have one of his worst fantasy seasons in recent memory. He's off of streaming consideration for now, but it's possible things pick up for him before season's end.

Schultz saw good involvement on Monday night. He led the team in receptions in a win over the Cowboys, but he wasn't able to do much beyond that. It's encouraging to see a strong target share from him, but fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting him to play a primary role in the passing game with Nico Collins back and on the field for Houston.

Schultz was second on the Texans in receiving yards in the close loss. The 66-yard game goes down as Schultz's best effort of the season as his previous best was a 52-yard outing against the Colts in Week 8. Schultz will take 29 catches for 310 yards and no touchdowns into a Week 11 matchup against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Schultz finished second on the team in targets but was only able to turn that into 21 receiving yards. The veteran tight end has caught 26 passes for 244 scoreless yards across nine games this season. He will be a low-end TE2 heading into Week 10 against the Lions.
