Week 13 Outlook
Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz caught three of his seven targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
With wide receivers Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb out, Schultz saw his role increase, and he scored his first touchdown since Week 4 against the Panthers. The Cowboys take on the Saints next Thursday, and both Cooper and Lamb are expected to return.
Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz caught six of his eight targets for 53 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
With Amari Cooper out and CeeDee Lamb leaving with a concussion, Schultz and wide receiver Michael Gallup paced the Dallas pass-catchers. Cooper is already out for Thanksgiving, and Lamb is questionable, so Schultz could be heavily involved in the passing game once again.
Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz caught one of his two targets for 14 yards in Sunday's win over the Falcons.
Schultz's two targets are his fewest since Week 2, and he has received at least five targets in every other game this season. His production has been gradually decreasing over the last few weeks, and it's possible that his role continues to diminish now that wide receiver Michael Gallup is back.
Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz caught four of his five targets for 54 yards in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.
Schultz hasn't found the end zone since Week 4 against the Panthers, but his 54 yards receiving actually led all Cowboys on Sunday as they were stifled by the Denver defense.
Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz caught two of his seven targets for just 11 yards in Sunday's win over the Vikings.
While many key Cowboys contributors posted solid numbers despite Cooper Rush starting at quarterback, Schultz posted his worst performance of the season in Week 8. He will look to bounce back against the Broncos in Week 9 when Dak Prescott is likely to be back under center.
