DeVante Parker scores in loss to Bills

DeVante Parker caught five of his ten targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 7 loss to the Bills.

Fantasy Impact

Parker was a target monster in this game, and the presence of Ryan Fitzpatrick is very good news for the "X" receiver in Parker. Parker could be usable as a WR3/Flex in a pinch, but relying on the Dolphins is always an unsettling proposition.

DeVante Parker finds end zone in loss to Skins

DeVante Parker caught three of his four targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 6 loss to the Redskins.

Fantasy Impact

Parker trailed both Preston Williams and Albert Wilson in targets in this game, though has been faring well in air yards thus far in 2019. If Ryan "DGAF" Fitzpatrick is under center in Week 7 against the Bills, Parker could be used in desperation situations, though he could also draw shadow coverage from Tre'Davious White, which would be bad news.

DeVante Parker back on the board in Week 4

DeVante Parker caught all four of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 4 loss to the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact

Parker found the end zone on an easy walk-in score against the Chargers, but owning him has been a bumpy ride for fantasy owners. Parker and rookie Preston Williams are battling with neither being the clear top target at this point. On the plus side, after the Week 5 bye, the Fins will face the Redskins in Week 6. Parker could be used in case of emergency for that week.

DeVante Parker back on the board in Week 3

DeVante Parker caught three of his six targets for 56 yards in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact

After being blanked in Week 2, Parker bounced back with a decent game (and a good one by his standards). Parker was well behind Preston Williams in terms of targets, and if he's not the alpha in the passing game, there will be no predictable fantasy value. Another week or two of this target distribution would make Parker droppable in all formats.

DeVante Parker blanked by Patriots

DeVante Parker was targeted seven times but failed to record a reception in the Dolphins' Week 2 loss to the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Well, the Parker breakout year was nice while it lasted. In all fairness, though, Parker saw primary coverage from Stephon Gilmore, who is a top flight shutdown cornerback, so his poor performance is somewhat excusable. That said, zero catches is still very poor. Parker need not be cut based on this performance, but if he doesn't get back on track next week, it's time to get concerned. His (tie) team-high seven targets today are still a positive indicator, at least.
