James White gets three touches in Super Bowl

James White rushed twice for 4 yards and caught one pass for 5 yards in the Patriots' 13-3 Super Bowl victory over the Rams.

Fantasy Impact

It was bizarre to see White barely involved in the offense, but the Patriots pulled out the victory nonetheless. White got off to a monster start in 2018 but faded down the stretch once Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead were fully healthy. Still, White will enter 2019 fantasy drafts as an RB2 in PPR leagues.

James White totals 72 yards in AFC Championship

James White caught four passes for 49 yards and rushed six times for 23 yards as the Patriots beat the Chiefs 37-31 to advance to the Super Bowl.

Fantasy Impact

New England went with an extremely run-heavy approach in this one, which slightly limited White’s fantasy upside. The Patriots are expected to run the ball again two weeks from now versus the Rams, but White is dangerous enough as a playmaker to warrant serious DFS consideration.

James White goes off for 15 receptions in playoff win

James White caught 15 of his 17 targets for 97 yards in the Patriots' AFC Divisional Round win over the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact

Even in a big win, White was heavily involved early on, and targeted early and often. Next week, with the Patriots as road underdogs (+3) against the high-powered Chiefs, it sets up as a game where White could factor in heavily. White has a nice floor and ceiling for next week's AFC Championship game, especially in PPR formats, for both playoff pools and DFS.

James White scores TD in regular season finale

James White rushed four times for 30 yards and caught four of his five targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 17 win over the Jets.

Fantasy Impact

White has been a roller coaster ride for fantasy purposes since the backfield got healthy in New England. White figures to play a complementary role moving into the playoffs and into 2019. The backfield should look similar, as Sony Michel is on his rookie deal, and both White and Rex Burkhead are signed through at least 2020 on the cheap. White should be around the RB3 discussion in PPR formats entering 2019 in all likelihood.

James White finds end zone in Week 16

James White rushed eight times for 41 yards and a touchdown and caught two of his four targets for 13 yards in the Patriots' Week 16 win over the Bills.

Fantasy Impact

White has become essentially touchdown dependent, and does not have nearly the touchdown equity as he would if he saw goal line work reliably. Since White has to score from farther out, he's very risky for Week 17.
