This Week Outlook
James White caught 4-of-7 targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 28-14 Week 17 win over the Jets.
The receiving score was his first of the season. This was arguably White's worst offensive campaign since he became a meaningful contributor in New England back in 2015. Of course, this was largely due to the Patriots' passing attack being broken for most of the year. White will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He could maintain PPR-specific fantasy value depending on landing spot.
James White rushed four times for 14 yards and caught three passes for 23 yards in Monday night's loss to the Bills.
Outside of a two TD game in Week 12, White has had a season to forget. He can't be started with any confidence in standard-scoring formats and is an RB4 in half and full PPR moving forward.
James White caught four passes for 52 yards in the Patriots' 22-12 Week 15 loss to the Dolphins.
White also ran two times for three yards. He hasn't been used as much this year as he was in recent seasons. White has been held under five catches in eight of his last nine contests. The Patriots face the Bills in Week 16, but just like the rest of New England's skill players, White won't be on the fantasy radar for that one.
Patriots running back James White is active for the team's Week 15 matchup against the Miami Dolphins despite being listed as questionable with a foot injury.
White saw just four touches last week, but he could see a larger role in Week 15 with Damien Harris inactive. He should only be considered in PPR formats this week.
James White caught 1-of-2 targets for two yards and rushed three times for 16 yards in the Patriots' 24-3 Week 14 loss to the Rams.
White has now received more than six touches in a game just once since Week 6. Even in PPR formats, the longtime Patriot can be left on waiver wires throughout the fantasy playoffs.
