Jeremy Hill has just 16 yards in Week 5 victory

Jeremy Hill had four carries for 16 yards and failed to receive a target in Sunday's victory over the Bills.

Fantasy Impact

With the emergence of Joe Mixon, Hill is going to be the odd man out in the Bengals backfield. Mixon is a better early down back, and both Giovani Bernard and Mixon are better receivers than Hill. Hill's only value is as a short yardage/goal line specialist but it wouldn't be shocking if he lost that role as well. Hill is droppable in all formats and isn't worth owning without an injury to Mixon.

Jeremy Hill totals 26 yards against the Browns on Sunday

Jeremy Hill totaled 26 yards against the Browns on Sunday. Hill rushed six times for 16 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards. The Bengals got up big on the Browns and the Bengals elected to continue feeding Joe Mixon instead of letting Hill run the clock. The Bengals beat the Browns 31-7.

Fantasy Impact

The Bengals got up big on the Browns and the Bengals elected to continue feeding Joe Mixon instead of letting Jeremy Hill run the clock. Take note of this. Hill does not need to be owned unless in the deepest of leagues. Should anything happen to Joe Mixon, Giovani Bernard would be the Bengals running back to own.

Jeremy Hill takes a back seat against the Packers

Jermey Hill received seven rushing attempts for 23 yards and caught his only target for six yards in yesterday's overtime loss to the Packers.

Fantasy Impact

Hill received just 14 snaps at running back and took a clear back seat in early down work to Joe Mixon. Hill should still see goal line work, but if he were to lose that he would be a clear cut candidate. With the uncertainty of the Bengal offense going forward, Hill is considered a boom or bust play with touchdown upside.

Jeremy Hill rushes for 17 yards Thursday against Texans

Jeremy Hill rushed six times for 17 yards Thursday against the Texans. He also added one catch for two yards.

Fantasy Impact

Hill is fighting for touches with Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard in the Bengals backfield, but he's the least desirable player to own of the trio. Mixon is the future for the Bengals and Bernard has carved out a third-down role with his pass catching abilities. Hill cannot be started in any leagues at this time, especially considering the struggles of the Bengals offense.

Jeremy Hill rushes for 26 yards on Sunday versus the Ravens

Jeremy Hill rushed for 26 yards on six attempts Sunday versus the Ravens. Hill also caught one pass for negative-two yards. The Bengals offensive line looked even worse than experts anticipated which left little room for Hill to make solid yardage.

Fantasy Impact

The Bengals offensive line looked truly atrocious on Sunday. On many plays, the Ravens defense was in the backfield by the time the running backs got the ball. With Joe Mixon, Hill, and Gio Bernard all in the Bengals backfield and nobody running away with the job, Hill would be an extremely risky start. Steer clear of Hill until this situation works itself out unless in a bye week bind.
