Todd Gurley insists knee is healthy

Todd Gurley told reporters after Super Bowl 53 that his knee is fully healthy.

Fantasy Impact

Gurley received and MRI after Week 15 but it didn't show anything to be concerned about. It's hard to imagine Gurley was fully healthy this post-season. He ran the ball 10 times for 35 yards versus the Patriots, adding one catch for a one-yard loss. It remains to be seen if the Rams will bring back C.J. Anderson in free agency. Gurley's disappearance this winter is an off-season storyline that won't get away quietly.

Todd Gurley won't be a workhorse during Super Bowl

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson will once again split carries during Sunday's Super Bowl.

Fantasy Impact

Rapoport adds the Rams' decision to decrease Gurley's workload comes from "a variety of factors". It sounds as if Gurley isn't injured anymore, but he might not have the conditioning at this point in the year to carry his workloads from the beginning of the season. The Rams will likely need to utilize Gurley as a receiver in tonight's game. The Patriots have struggled covering RBs out of the backfield all season long.

Todd Gurley (knee) says he's healthy despite getting five touches in NFCCG

Todd Gurley (knee) says he is healthy despite the fact he played just 32-of-69 snaps versus the Saints in the NFC Championship on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

He saw just four carries compared to 16 for C.J. Anderson. Gurley says he just played "sorry" and is healthy. He did drop two passes that should've been caught and also missed a blitz pickup. Gurley now has two weeks to get himself ready for Super Bowl 53.

Todd Gurley scores on five touches in NFC Championship

Todd Gurley rushed four times for 10 yards and a TD in the Rams’ 26-23 overtime win over the Saints in the NFC Championship.

Fantasy Impact

Gurley also caught one pass for 3 yards. He dropped two passes early on and was then left on the bench as C.J. Anderson got 16 carries. He at least scored a six-yard touchdown to somewhat salvage his fantasy day. Gurley has two weeks to get fully healthy for the Super Bowl.

Todd Gurley scores in win over Dallas

Rams RB Todd Gurley rushed 16 times for 115 yards and a touchdown in Saturday night's Divisional Round win over Dallas.

Fantasy Impact

Even spitting duty with C.J. Anderson, Gurley still managed to rush for over 100 yards and a score. The Rams rushing attack was too much for the usually stout run defense. Gurley will look to get his health and touches on track for the rest of the postseason, but don't be surprised if C.J. Anderson continues to be featured as well to not only keep the normal starter fresh but to also cover up Jared Goff's deficiencies.
