Like most rookie TE's, Fant wasn't very productive as a rookie but when given the opportunity, he showed legitimate breakout talent. Now, as he enters year two in the NFL, expect him to be more involved in the offense, especially in the red-zone.

This comes down to there being simply too many mouths to fee in Denver. Do we think they're suddenly going to let Drew Lock throw the ball 600-plus times? Not with Vic Fangio as they coach, they aren't. When you have Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Melvin Gordon, and Phillip Lindsay as your skill-position corps, it's going to be tough seeing consistent targets. He's going to flash and have big games, but won't be consistent enough for an every-week option.

Fant was a great streaming option in a few matchups last season, but he certainly has more competition for targets now in Denver this season. Fant has the talent to be a true fantasy star, but he may just not see enough target volume to be a consistent option week in and week out. He should finish towards the TE1 range, but it might just be on the back of a few games here or there.

How is Noah Fant's ADP as high as TE8 on some sites?! Stop it right now! Do not consider taking him in the 6th or 7th round, wait until the double digit rounds and then you can consider him for his round 1 streaming appeal. Fant is a very talented player but Drew Lock doesn't want to give him the ball. Now the Broncos have added Jeudy, Hamler, Gordon and Albert O but Fant's going above Higbee? This has got to stop. He's a streaming TE, dynasty stash, and team name inspiration, that's where the hype train should end.

Fant had 550 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns in his rookie campaign, despite playing with 3 starting quarterbacks. He could be a TE1 sleeper in 2020, if QB Drew Lock can stay healthy.

This is aggressive but many claimed he was the Iowa tight end to select in the 2019 draft.

22 years old - UFA 2024, club option 2023

As Lock emerges, Fant will bust out. Tremendous talent just needs to get in rhythm with his QB
