Fantasy Football Player Notes

2019 PPR Rest of Season Rankings
Derrick Henry Note
Derrick Henry photo 7. Derrick Henry RB - (at HOU)
Henry has already scored four touchdowns in three games, and has pretty much shown that he's game-script proof, continuing to get work even when the Titans were well behind in Week 3 against the Jaguars. He doesn't offer much in the passing game, but with his volume, he's at least a strong RB2 going forward, even in half PPR leagues.

A.J. Brown Note
A.J. Brown photo 89. A.J. Brown WR - (at HOU)
It's about time the Titans start using their best pass-catcher. Brown has been extraordinarily efficient all season and seems to break the first tackle every time he touches the ball. Sometimes, as we saw in Week 14, that leads to a long touchdown reception. He does have some risk from week to week, but considering his great home matchup against the Texans, it is more likely that fantasy owners get a boom week from Brown.

Ryan Tannehill Note

He's produced in every game he's started, which is now a seven-game sample size. Why are fantasy owners doubting him? His playoff matchup in Week 15 is as good as they come at home against the Texans. The Week 16 matchup against the Saints isn't great, but it's also not one to run from.

Corey Davis Note

You may have had your heart broken by Corey Davis a time or two, but that doesn't mean you can't play him in your fantasy playoffs with cake matchups against Oakland and Houston coming up. If you have the roster space, stash him now for two starts then.

Tennessee Titans Note
Tennessee Titans photo 204. Tennessee Titans DST - (at HOU)
This is the time in the year where you let go of defenses you don't feel comfortable with, and that's precisely the case with the Titans, who are not only dealing with a lot of cornerback injuries, but they're going to play against the Texans and Saints offenses over the final two games of the fantasy season.

Adam Humphries Note
Adam Humphries photo 225. Adam Humphries WR - (at HOU)
Humphries hasn't done anything exciting and it is hard to imagine much happening with this offense, but we do have the unknown here with Ryan Tannehill potentially starting and it is worth noting that in a small sample, he connected for four completions with Humphries after taking over.

Jonnu Smith Note

If Delanie Walker ends up missing another game, Smith would make for an excellent streamer start once again but the most likely scenario is that Walker plays and Smith becomes an afterthought.
