Expert Note
View More NotesYou have to hand it to the Steelers; shutting down Taylor for 45 yards on 15 carries is no small feat. Especially when he had a long run for 20 yards, he was held to 25 yards on 14 carries outside of that. Thankfully, he caught three of his four targets for an additional 37 yards, providing an okay fantasy day. That said, the Colts and Daniel Jones do not look good. Considering the Steelers were allowing the 11th most fantasy points to the RB position, the Steelers focused all their efforts on Taylor this week. As a result, unless this offense gets better, we may see more of these kinds of games in the future with the defenses selling out to stop JT. At the same time, he can always find the endzone and make big plays. Especially against the 0-5 Titans, Taylor should dominate on the ground. He is my RB3 behind Bijan Robinson and Kenneth Walker this week.

View More NewsJonathan Taylor ran 15 times for 45 yards and caught three of four targets for 37 yards in the Colts' 34-22 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor was largely bottled up by the Steelers' run defense, finding little running room outside of a 20-yard run near the end of the game. He had a nice catch-and-run in the receiving game, but those were his two explosive plays in the game. He will hope for better results next week against the Titans.
